Recreation Amenities 

Day-Use Passes are valid 9:30 am until 6:00 pm. Campers may use activities 8:00 am - 9:00 pm subject to staffing.

Camp Staff & Security enforce Campground Rules against disorderly conduct that may disturb Campers or neighbors.

Check out the WIBIT, an inflatable play area on the water. Note that the WIBIT at Timber Shores will be in the Recreation Pond not in the bay!

Playgrounds

  1. There will be Playground areas within the interior of the Park with open air shelters

  2. Recreation Pond to include:
    A - 1.8 acre pond with 670 ft of beach frontage & 0.60 acres of open beach. The pond will be fully lined and be maintained with a filtration system.
    B - Inflatable play area on the water.
    C - Zoom Floom
    D - Paddle Rentals: Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Pedal Boats
    E - Sun Shades and Cabanas
    F - Open Swim area

  3. Grand Traverse Bay Beach area:
    A - Beach: There is 1,723 Ft of GTB shoreline. Approx. 526 ft of shoreline will be restored open beach area of approximately 1.2 acres, as approved by EGLE.
    B - Paddle Rentals: Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Sailboards, Pedal Boats, etc.
    C - Sun Shades, Cabanas & beach chairs
    D - Protected Swim area & shallow water game and activities area.
    E - Floating Cabanas

  4. Game Plaza: This is a fenced area adjacent to the Pond containing activities which may include:
    - Permanent Outdoor Ping Pong
    - Permanent Corn Hole
    - Gaga Pit
    - Jumping Pillow
    - Aeroball
    - Waterwars
    - Jacobs Ladder
    - Climbing Wall
    - Mini Golf

- All campsites will have compacted gravel pads for parking.
